It
is very difficult to keep your PC virus free, despite good intentions
and proper software, viruses, spyware or trojans can creep onto your computer.
If
you suspect your computers security has been compromised, we would reccommend
you do not use your computer, especially if it is connected to a network,
as the threat will usually try to migrate to other machines across the
network, and that includes wireless laptops, compounding the problem.
Once
your computer has been infected you may be aware of strange things happening,

In other instances you may not be able to use any programs, or be prompted about a virus but told your anti virus software may not be effective at removing the threat, or you may be asked for money to upgrade to a proffessional removal tool, do not be taken in, the offer is rarely genuine.
